Organizations — Joining, Creating, and Leaving

An organization is the unit everything else in these docs belongs to — its own form, sources, referrals, and member list. You can belong to more than one; switch between them with the project selector in the top-left of the navigation bar.

Creating a new organization

  1. Go to Account → Join or create an organization.
  2. Under Create a new organization, enter a name and click Check Out.
  3. Complete payment through the Stripe checkout window that opens.

You can also click Or, open the stripe portal to manage billing for organizations you already own.

Joining an existing organization

If someone has shared an access code with you:

  1. Go to Account → Join or create an organization.
  2. Under Join an organization, enter the code (format XXXX-XXXX).
  3. Click Submit and Join.

You'll need to reload the page for the newly joined organization to show up in the project selector.

Removing an organization

Only the organization's owner can delete it, from Account → Join or create an organization with ?org=<uuid> (linked from the account page for organizations you own).

This is permanent and immediate. Deleting an organization:

  • Destroys all referrals and sources for it — there's no recovery.
  • Instantly breaks every QR code and NFC card pointing at its form.
  • Immediately affects every other member of the organization.
  • Does not automatically stop billing — cancel your subscription separately from the account page.

You'll be asked to retype the organization's id to confirm before the delete button is enabled.
